Hello everyone,
So if I remember correctly Carnival promised to post more frequently while we were out of town in Nashville but that didnt happen and we do apologize. Our schedule didnt exactly allow us to post what we would have liked to but we thought we would take some time out and catch up with you.
So first of all we would like to thank God for increasing our territory because from the time we arrived until the time we left we were busy which was truly a blessing. Okay so after we got there and checked into our rooms we basically had a day to ourselves which we spent with some good friends who live in Franklin, Tn.
The next couple of days were spent attending different showcases that were put together for GMA Week 2009 and they were great. We also got to see some of the greatest artists minister live and we got to network with more people in the industry. On April 21st we took part in "The Show" which showcased over 40 groups from all over the country. Everyone was given a time slot to go up and minister to everyone and God really blessed us during that time. We also got a chance to attend Tedashii's listening party @BB Kings for his new album "Identity Crisis" and it was phenomenal. It was jam packed with all kinds of people and other artists who were showing their support for Tedashii's sophmore album. And trust us, his new album is hot! There are quite a few joints on there that will be on repeat!
On Friday and Saturday we had two concerts in Springfield Tn, and Antioch Tn and overall we had a blast being on stage and ministering the word of God with our youth. By the time we left on Sunday, everyone was ready to go home and as we traveled back to Youngstown Ohio (which is where all 4 of us live) we experienced 3 Flat tires. Not 1 not 2 but....3 flat tires! Now if you're reading this you're probably thinking that having that many flat tires in one trip is unheard of but it happened to us. And even though that happened to us in the natural we always look at things in the spiritual sense, like why did that happen or what's the reason behind that happening?
And after we prayed and spent some time together God revealed it to us...in life there will be many flat tires, potholes, and detours that will try to stop you from reaching your God given destination but the Lord says....KEEP GOING! Those mishaps don't occur for you to stop and remain on the side of the road...they happen to PROPEL YOU FORWARD! If you're going through a rough situation righ now and everything you're facing is so overwhelming that you just want to quit...Carnival wants to encourage you today to HOLD ON AND KEEP IT MOVIN! No matter what it is, alot of times you're on the brink of your blessing and breakthrough but the key to receiving from the Lord is to continue on! If you're facing resistance, you're in the right place. Be encouraged, stay positive and know God has great things in store for you but you have to keep going!!!!

You need to perservere so when you have done the will of God you will receive what he has promised.
Stay in the will of God fam, and keep going! Do what God has called you to do regardless of what's going on around you. Get that tunnel vision and go after the things of God with PASSION!

Hey Friends!
Hello everyone!
I know Carnival promised to blog once a week but since our last post we've been doing so many things. It's been crazy on our end but all good nontheless. Since we last wrote, we had our listening party for the new album and it was a success! It was on April 11th at the church we attend which is Everlife Worship Center and we had about 50 of our closest friends in attendance and they got to check out everything. Yes, we gave them a chance to listen to our entire album and they were definitely feeling it! If you don't know the name of our new album is "Population of Invisible People" and it will hit stores July 28, 2009! The anticipation and excitement is definitely there and we cannot wait for everyone to hear it so you can tell us what you think and also this album has definitely been created to minister to the masses. God has downloaded some things into us that we have shared on this record and we know that you will be blessed by it. As we speak, Carnival is getting ready to travel down to Nashville, Tennessee for the GMA/Dove Award week and we are going to be ministering down there with some of the greatest acts in Christian Hip Hop! God is good and we are so blessed to even be in the position. God always has a way of bringing things together in his timing. We do commit to blogging throughout our trip so you can have a play by play of what goes on in the everyday life of Carnival! Well gotta run to finish packing but before we do , we would like to share a scripture with you....
Mark 4:35-41
That is the story of when the disciples were in the boat with Jesus and while he was asleep in the boat a great storm arose and started forcing water in the boat and when they realized this they woke Jesus up and was in a frenzy about him not caring that they were about to perish (I'm paraphrasing here so bear with me....read the scriputre in its entirety and continue on with this)
Why is that when Hardships come our way and threaten the foundation we're on we come back at God doubting him?
It is in those times when we're going through that we need to trust him the most but alot of times we end up doubting him and questioning his love and care for us. Carnival wants to encourage you today that if you find yourself going through a storm in your life, don't run from it. Don't even question God as to why you're going through it. Just trust God to bring you through it and rely on your faith to pull you through the adversity. As a group and individually we've neen through so many things that had us questioning God but God is so good just when we thought we were alone, God showed up and calmed the storm. Don't ever feel like you're out at sea by yourself and fighting the storm by yourself. God is there and he is able to calm the storm and whatever it is you're going through. Today we want you to rely on your faith, not fear because fear is not of God. Allow your faith to grow in through your storm. Be encouraged and feel free to share with us.

Welcome! Why the name Carnival?
Welcome everyone! This is the official blog spot of Carnival. We thank you for taking the time out to stop by and check us out. We promise we'll post at least once a week and whenever we have some exciting news to tell you. You may be reading this first blog and wonder why in the world did we decide to name our group Carnival but read on...
We had been talking about coming up with a name that would encompass what God was doing in us and what he was doing among the people. At one point we had come up with several names until the name Carnival was presented in one of our conversations. Sean aka Heavy Metal and his wife had come up with the name Carnival and before we could shut it down lol they explained the meaning behind such a colorful name.
They went on to explain how in the Bible that in the last days signs and wonders shall follow them and the scripture was perfect for us because we believe that when we minister and wherever we go that God will move in such a mighty way that there will be signs and wonders present. It is so imperative in these last days to be able to hear the voice of God and listen when he speaks and in this time it's so important to be obedient as well. People in this day and age want to be shown something and it is up to us as believers in Christ to live our lives in anway that it's showing them something. So we believe as a group that God is going to move mightily through us and we believe that we are the voice for the lost generation. We have a heart for the people that have been misrepresented and overlooked and we feel it is our mission to reach out to that population of people.
So you can look for great things coming from Carnival. There will be devotionals being posted, words of wisdom, funny posts, and general notes just to let you know what's going on in our world. Again thanks for stopping by and feel free to hit us up with any comments, questions, or suggestions.
